Northern Ohio's underfunded schools lack the technology resources needed to prepare our students to compete in the 21st century.   Our school districts' unacceptably low student-to-computer ratio (14:1) inhibits student performance in state testing and accompanying funding opportunities. Without enough computers in our schools, we are also missing out on the chance to cultivate a top-quality workforce for our region.

OneCommunity is helping to close the digital gap in Northern Ohio schools and provide our region's organizations with an environmentally friendly, cost-effective solution for computer disposal with Green Computing. Our technology recycling initiative keeps unwanted computers and other technology resources out of landfills by refurbishing them for use in classrooms across Northeast Ohio.
