OneCommunity Sponsors Regional IoT Summit April 7
Cleveland, OH, March 25, 2015—Entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders and investors are invited to – a smarter, more inter-connected world with the goal of transforming ideas into reality over the next year. Cleveland [R]IoT-[Realizing] the Internet of Things, sponsored by OneCommunity and the Global Center for Health Innovation in conjunction with Embedded Planet, Arrow Electronics, GE and AT&T will take place April 7 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Global Center for Health Innovation.
Designed to inspire and bring together industry representatives, makers, vendors, experts, developers and others to plan, learn, network, collaborate, strategize and effectively tap into the immense potential of the IoT domain, the summit will be a think tank for inspiration and future development.
“Much of the region’s $200 billion economy, employment and wealth comes from the unconnected economy. Ten years from now, the world will divide into those regions that embraced and designed cluster strategies informed by a connected economy DNA and those that do not. We are world leaders in analog devices, controls, sensors and other physically manufactured ‘things’. Now is our moment,” says OneCommunity CEO Lev Gonick.
The summit will be a forum for discussion about: Creating an IoT ecosystem in Northeast Ohio, the industrial internet, the role of big data in IoT and product design in smart devices and the industrial internet.
